Laser Cleaning for Classic Car & Frame Restoration in the DC Area
Restoration-grade results without the media mess.
Restoration shops and hobbyists across the DMV use LaserRust Pro to strip rust and paint from frames, panels, suspension, and drivetrain parts. Laser cleaning reaches into seams and pitting and leaves original metal in place. It also won't pack your project with blasting media that turns up for years.

What we clean on restoration projects
- Frames and subframes, including frame-off and frame-on work
- Floor pans, quarter panels, doors, hoods, and trunk lids
- Suspension arms, axles, differentials, and leaf springs
- Engine blocks, heads, intake manifolds, and brackets
- Wheels, trim, and small hardware
- Truck beds and undercarriages
Why restorers prefer laser
Media blasting can warp thin sheet metal and leaves grit in boxed frame rails, pinch welds, and seams. That grit has a way of showing up in fresh paint or in an engine. Laser cleaning is non-contact and dry, and it removes rust from inside pits without thinning good metal. That matters on original, hard-to-replace parts.
Frame-on or frame-off
We can clean a bare frame on a rotisserie or stands, or work on a rolling chassis at your shop. Assembled cars need more care around wiring, rubber, and glass, and we'll walk you through what can be done in place.
Testimonial
“LaserRust Pro saved us hours of labor on a frame-off restoration. The results were incredible and the service was top-notch.”

Classic Car & Frame Restoration FAQ
Will laser cleaning warp body panels?
Laser cleaning doesn't impact the panel, so it avoids the warping risk of aggressive media blasting. We use conservative settings on thin sheet metal and test first.
Can you clean a frame without removing the body?
Often, yes, for accessible areas. Frame-off gives the best access and results, but we can do a lot on a rolling chassis.
Do you work with individual owners or only shops?
Both. We work with restoration shops and with individual owners on their own projects.
How should I protect the metal after cleaning?
Prime or apply a rust inhibitor the same day. Bare steel can flash rust quickly in DC-area humidity.
